Polish poet, prose-writer and translator of Polish literature and philosophy into English.

Born 1934 in Warsaw. Left Poland in 1941. 1941-47 lived in the Middle East. Arrived in England 1947.
Studied literature and philosophy at the Universities of London, Sussex and Oxford. Currently lives in Wales.
